Masquerade was created to increase awareness of mental health and to raise money to support those with mental health issues in the community of Hamilton.

There is a stigma around those who struggle internally with mental health and, with this event, we hope to dull the stigma. We wear masks to symbolize the masks that those suffering wear every day. The funds raised at the event will go to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Hamilton Chapter to enhance their evening programming.
